Description: This course will show health educators how to talk to pre-drivers. Attendees of this class will receive an updated lesson plan based on feedback provided by previous attendees. Each tool kit that will help teach motor vehicle safety to students will be driving in the near future. Teachers will be armed with lesson plans, and safe driving tips so they can talk to their students about not driving while texting, driving impaired, driving aggressively, and what to do if they feel uncomfortable in a vehicle with someone who is driving unsafe. The aim is to prepare future drivers with proper and safe driving habits.
This course will teach health educators how to implement the road safety force program in their classes. This program is aimed at keeping young drivers safe when they are behind the wheel!
